Kalasinbjudningar

Okej - kalasinbjudningar är ju en utmaning, men mer stimulerande om man varierar dem litegrann. Så det har jag gjort!

 

Flower power Princess

I've been working too hard lately, with not much time for crafting, and now I find I have some serious problems with my blog... Hope I can keep it running!

 

Anyway, this TGF Princess stamp is awfully useful, and my own little Princess loves it. So of course I had to use it for her birthday card! I'm entering this week's FFF challenge Flower Power: 

 

 

Kalasinbjudningar

Dottern fyller 5 på torsdag och i lördags hade vi barnkalas här hemma för första gången. Piratprinsesstema - med 8 sockerstinna prinsessor, pirater och piratprinsessor som sprang omkring. Till ett sådant kalas krävdes förstås specialgjorda inbjudningskort - dottern målade prinsessor och jag fick äran att färglägga två piratkort. Inuti stämplade vi kalasinbjudan på pergamentliknande papper som vi "brände" i kanterna med hjälp av brun stämpelfärg för att efterlikna en skattkarta.

Oliver's card

The FFF challenge at Splendid stamping this week is Wave your banners and flags, and I've made this card for it:

I've used Oliver from the Oliver & Amelia stamp set "Happy Day"-and, yes, the little boy who's going to get this card for his birthday is called Oliver too, and they do sort of look alike :-)

I would also like to enter the Lots of layers challenge at Anyonefor Anya's!

Oh boy

This week's FFF challenge at the TGF blog is to use a male TGF image. For this card I've used one of my favourite TGF stamps - Surprise Oliver. Isn't he cute?

It's a C&S card (as usual) and it's for boy who just turned 8.

Making it move

After a long time with low activity here on the blog (and almost as low crafting activity), I've finally had some time to make some cards. This weekend was very busy with two birthdays AND Mother's day. Sadly all mothers were left without cards (but with other festivities), but I did manage to get together a card for my husband's 40th birthday (coming up on the blog later, I still haven't got a picture of it) and this card for my daughter's cousin. We gave him tickets for a football game, and I wanted a fun card to present the gift.

Cattie told me to look at this cute double slider card by Jo and I did - it was the perfect inspiration for my card!

Piratprinsessa

När min lilla tjej fyllde 4 år innan jul gjorde jag ett kort till henne med allt hon älskar - pirater, prinsessor, rosa och glitter. Kombinationen blev...uppskattad. Hur som helst var det väldigt kul att färglägga Alvida The Pirate från Make it crafty.

So - with this birthday card for my daughter I'd like to enter the I love ProMarkers challenge Happy Birthday and the PB@Allsorts challenge Pink, pearly and swirly.

Sugar sweet

A very pink card for a girl turning 10. I've used washi tape to create the background for the No patterned paper challenge at Anyone for Anya.

Surprise!

This little boy belongs to the TGF set "Surprise", that I won in the TGF Retro challenge the other month. Isn't he adorable?

When I got back home after a short vacation I saw that the TGF blog has an exciting FFF challenge this week - "Stamp your own background". I got started, using a stamp I've had for ages but never really used before, for the background papers. I didn't have much time to complete the card until yesterday, and then I saw another great challenge at TGF (DTT) - a colour combo: red, teal and white! And since I was in doubt as to which colour I wanted to use other than teal and white, it was perfect inspiration at just the right time! 

At the beach

I've completed another card for the At the beach challenge at Passion for ProMarkers, again using my new stamp Sandy at beach from Making it crafty, but this time with the lovely background stamp The beach. Fun fun fun to colour!

Ice cream at the beach

Passion for ProMarkers has a new challenge this week, At the beach, and it's just perfect for me! I just got some new stamps and papers with sunny summer things like ice creams and sea shells. And I was so inspired by some of the DT cards that I'll probably make several beach cards this week :-)

I've used my new stamp from Make it crafty, Sandy at beach, but cut away the bucket and gave her an ice cream (brad) instead. I hope she likes the change.

Äppelträd

Blev så sugen på att göra en variant av ett mysigt kort jag såg i en av mina gamla kortmagasin, så här kommer ett kort helt utan stämplat motiv. Till en stor liten kille som fyller år idag!

Flygande katt

Gillar verkligen den här söta katten på ballongfärd från Penny Black. Tyckte den passade perfekt när jag hittade en stuvbit av det ljusblå flygplanspappret i min pappersmapp och fick för mig att jag skulle göra ett kort som kan vara bra att ha till någon liten knodd som fyller år framöver.

Barnsligt enkelt

Har gjort en ny variant på det här kortet, denna gång till en liten kille som fyller 6 år nu i veckan. Det är himla kul att dekorera kort utan någon stämplad bild tycker jag! Och med den här skissen får jag äntligen användning för mina cirkelpunchar i olika storlekar som annars mest ligger och skräpar i lådan!

Flygande kissekatt

Dottern ska på kalas i helgen, till en kompis som fyller 5 år. Jag hade inte riktigt börjat fundera på vad jag skulle göra för kort, men så såg jag ett av Debbys fantastiska kort som utgjorde utmaningen hos PBSC denna vecka, och då var valet enkelt. Dessutom har jag för första gången försökt mig på lager-på-lager-tekniken som hon är okrönt mästarinna på, med ett helt okej resultat om jag får säga det själv. Även om jag har lååååång väg att gå innan jag är i närheten av Debbys nivå! Jag kommer dock att fortsätta öva, den saken är klar :-)
