Anya Blooms

My friend and colleague has just got a new job - a really great one! I had to make her a card to congratulate her. And it gave me a good excuse to use my new stamp, Anya Blooms, again :-)

This week's FFF challenge at TGF is to use any Anya stamp, and I've recently bought this lovely stamp, Anya Blooms. And this since September has just arrived, I think its time for those gorgous autumnal colours:

Oliver's card

The FFF challenge at Splendid stamping this week is Wave your banners and flags, and I've made this card for it:

I've used Oliver from the Oliver & Amelia stamp set "Happy Day"-and, yes, the little boy who's going to get this card for his birthday is called Oliver too, and they do sort of look alike :-)

Fresh & green

I like the fresh green feeling of the photo challenge this week at Anyone for Anyas - here's my go at a green card inspired by the photo:

This week's FFF challenge at the TGF blog is to use a male TGF image. For this card I've used one of my favourite TGF stamps - Surprise Oliver. Isn't he cute?

It's a C&S card (as usual) and it's for boy who just turned 8.

Making it move

After a long time with low activity here on the blog (and almost as low crafting activity), I've finally had some time to make some cards. This weekend was very busy with two birthdays AND Mother's day. Sadly all mothers were left without cards (but with other festivities), but I did manage to get together a card for my husband's 40th birthday (coming up on the blog later, I still haven't got a picture of it) and this card for my daughter's cousin. We gave him tickets for a football game, and I wanted a fun card to present the gift.

Cattie told me to look at this cute double slider card by Jo and I did - it was the perfect inspiration for my card!
